Long Island MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma sits in the middle of Suffolk County, which makes it the natural airport for much of Long Island and a handy back door to the Hamptons and the North Fork. It is a small airport with an easy terminal, but it is a long way from the city, and app rides out there are not dependable at five in the morning or eleven at night.

MacArthur Airport questions
Is MacArthur better than JFK for the Hamptons?
Usually, if there is a convenient flight. It cuts out the slowest part of the drive across Queens and western Nassau. If the only flights go into JFK, we will take you from there instead.
Can you pick me up at the Ronkonkoma train station instead?
Yes. If you are arriving on the Long Island Rail Road, tell us your train and we will confirm a meeting point outside the station.
Do you also serve Republic Airport in Farmingdale?
Yes, including private flights through its FBOs. Send us the tail number and the handler and we will coordinate the pick-up.
Is the price the same on summer weekends?
The price is agreed when you book and does not change on the day, whatever the traffic. Busy dates do fill up early, so book ahead for July and August.
