The train is fine if you live next to Penn Station and are going somewhere next to another station. Most people are not. A long-distance car takes you from your front door to the exact address at the other end, with your luggage in the back and nobody changing at Newark or hunting for a taxi on arrival. For two or more people, it is often closer in price to the train than you would think.

Which vehicle for a long trip
- One or two people: the Cadillac XTS, quiet enough to work or sleep.
- A family or a small team: the Suburban or Escalade, with space for luggage.
- Seven to fourteen: a Sprinter.
- Large groups: the motor coach, whose onboard restroom and WiFi make four-hour runs far easier. See charter bus rental.
Same-day return? For a day trip, such as a meeting in Philadelphia and back, booking by the hour keeps the car and chauffeur with you all day, which is usually simpler and cheaper than two one-way trips.

Long-distance questions
How is a long-distance trip priced?
One flat price for the trip, covering the car, the chauffeur, fuel and tolls. If the car will return empty, that is built into the one-way price, which is why booking a return or a full day can be better value.
Can we stop on the way?
Yes. Tell us when you book, or simply ask your chauffeur on the day for a short comfort stop.
Can you meet us at the other end for the trip back?
Yes. Book both legs together and we schedule the return around your plans.
Do you go further than Washington or Boston?
Ask us. Longer trips are possible, and for very long ones we will plan the schedule within the driving-hour rules that keep everyone safe.
