Six-passenger airport bookings usually fail in the same place: at the kerb, when the last two suitcases will not go in. The Suburban exists for that moment. It seats the same six people as an Escalade, with noticeably more room behind the third row. For families flying long-haul, golf trips, ski weekends and anyone travelling with a pram or a wheelchair, it is the safer choice.
Inside the Suburban

Comfortable second-row seating, a full-size third row, and the deepest cargo area of any vehicle in our fleet below a van. Bottled water and phone charging on board, child seats on request at no charge.
Rule of thumb: count the large suitcases, not the people. Up to four large cases, either SUV is fine. Five or more, take the Suburban. More than that, or more than six people, a Sprinter is the better and often cheaper answer.

Suburban questions
How many suitcases fit in a Suburban?
With all six seats in use, about five large checked cases plus carry-ons. With four passengers, the third row can fold and it will take considerably more.
Can you fit golf bags or skis?
Yes. Two to four golf bags fit comfortably with four passengers. Tell us what you are carrying when you book and we will confirm it fits.
Is the Suburban cheaper than the Escalade?
The two are priced closely. Choose on what you need: space for the Suburban, presence for the Escalade.
