Point-to-point rides are priced by the trip. But some days are not a trip. They are five meetings across Midtown and Downtown, a shopping day with bags in the boot, an evening that starts with dinner and ends when it ends, or a Manhattan sightseeing loop with as many stops as you want. For those, it is better to keep the car: book by the hour and the chauffeur waits for you at every stop.
When hourly makes sense
- Three or more stops in a day, especially with uncertain timings.
- Roadshows and client visits, where the car needs to be outside each building when the meeting ends.
- Nights out, dinner and a show, or a birthday with several venues.
- Sightseeing — the skyline from Brooklyn Bridge Park, Times Square at night, Central Park, the 9/11 Memorial, Top of the Rock — on your schedule, not a tour bus’s.
- Weddings and proms, which are almost always booked by the hour.
How the minimum works: hourly bookings carry a minimum number of hours, which depends on the vehicle and the date. Busy Saturdays, holidays and peak season have longer minimums. We state it clearly in your quote, before you commit, never afterwards.
How hourly bookings are priced
An hourly rate for the vehicle, multiplied by the hours you book, with tolls and parking on the agreed route included. If the day runs long, you can extend while the vehicle is free, and the extra time is charged at the same hourly rate, agreed with you before it starts.

Hourly questions
When does the hourly clock start?
At the booked pick-up time, at the first address, and it ends when you are dropped off at the last one. We confirm the start and end points in your quote.
Can I add stops during the booking?
Yes. Within your booked hours you can go wherever you like in the service area. Long trips out of the city should be mentioned when you book.
Can I leave my shopping in the car?
Yes. The chauffeur stays with the vehicle, so bags are safe between stops.
Is hourly cheaper than separate rides?
For three or more stops in a few hours, usually. For one or two simple rides, point-to-point is normally cheaper. Tell us the plan and we will quote whichever works out better for you.
